Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Dr Victoria Price
General Practitioner (G.P)

Hello, I'm Dr. Victoria Price, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Women's Wellness team. I’m a medical doctor and have had the privilege of serving as a doctor in the Royal Navy for many years. My enduring passion for sports and fitness led me to pursue a master's degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

In addition to advocating for the daily incorporation of movement into our lives, I emphasise the crucial importance of proper rest, recovery, and quality sleep to enhance overall health and well-being. I currently work as a General Practitioner (G.P.) in student health and also at the Oxford Women's Health Menopause Clinic.

In my professional role, I witness the challenges that women face, both mentally and physically, as they search for ways to improve their well-being. I am genuinely enthusiastic about endorsing the Work It Wellness program and witnessing the transformative journeys of the women who become part of it.

I eagerly anticipate hosting live sessions on the first Tuesday of every month, where you can join me as I guide you through the path to achieving optimal wellness.

How it all began...

Becs here, as I entered my 40's and faced the challenges of a slowing metabolism, I realised the need for a change to maintain my fitness and well-being. The struggle to stay in good shape had a disheartening effect on my motivation.

Driven by a desire to understand and address these issues, I delved into extensive learning. I embarked on a journey to become a group fitness instructor and pursued studies in women's wellness and nutrition. My aim was to gain a profound understanding of how women's bodies function and how we can optimise both our physical and mental well-being. My studies illuminated the strong connection between exercise and mental health, as well as the profound impact of our dietary choices on these aspects.

Armed with this newfound knowledge, I applied these principles to my own life, resulting in transformative changes. In just six months, I shed 10 kilograms, experienced improved sleep and dietary habits, and found a remarkable surge in energy. I haven't felt this content, vibrant, and self-assured in years.

This personal journey inspired me to share these life-altering insights with other women, so they too could discover their best selves. This vision led to the creation of 'Work It Wellness.' During my journey, I had the privilege of connecting with a remarkable female doctor who shared a passion for empowering women to become the best versions of themselves. Our collaboration came naturally, and she has become an integral part of Work It Women's Wellness. With her expertise and guidance, our members have access to the tools and insights needed to realise their fullest potential.
